Black-footed Ferret

Once the most endangered mammal in North America, the Black-footed Ferret is making a respectable recovery because of captive breeding programs at facilities such as Toronto Zoo and the U.S. Fish And Wildlife Service. This species is part of the endangered species program at the Toronto Zoo, a program supported by ELSA.
